Sadguru Solar Energy didn't start with venture capital, a national marketing campaign, or a slick app. It started in Pune with a simple, stubborn conviction: that rooftop solar could save ordinary Maharashtra families real money — and that there was no reason it had to be complicated or dishonest.
We began with residential installations in Wakad, Hinjewadi, and Baner — helping IT professionals and their families cut electricity bills that had become genuinely painful. Word spread the way it only does when the work is actually good: through neighbours, housing society WhatsApp groups, and office colleagues comparing bills.
Commercial projects followed — shops on FC Road, restaurants in Koregaon Park, factories in Chakan. Each project taught us something about Maharashtra's grid, its MSEDCL complexities, its building stock. Today, we are one of the few solar companies in Pune that genuinely knows the difference between a Pune Zone MSEDCL application and a PCMC zone application — and why it matters for your project timeline.
We remain a focused, Pune-rooted company by choice. National chains tell you that's a weakness. Our 200+ Google reviewers suggest otherwise.
